MWC is back! And, true to form, Barcinno is here for the 8th year to share your complete guide to all the official (and unofficial) Mobile World Congress parties and events for 2022.
In less than a week’s time, around 1,500 exhibitors and attendees from 183 countries will arrive in Barcelona for #MWC22, which runs from Monday, 28th February to Thursday, 3rd March 2022.

During the Mobile World Congress (MWC) 2022 in Barcelona, a networking event will be organized for Dutch companies and conference attendees of the MWC.

Forging a Sustainable Path to 6G: IEEE Future Networks Initiative workshop
This in-person IEEE workshop will investigate sustainability issues and opportunities for next-generation (6G) communication networks.
IEEE is hosting a free in-person workshop focused on forging a path to sustainable 6G. This workshop, organized by the IEEE Future Networks Initiative and sponsored by VMware, is aimed at bringing together researchers, scientists, technology experts, and stakeholders from industry, governments and academia. It will be held in the backdrop of Mobile World Congress on Thursday, 3 March 2022 at Hotel 1898 in the heart of Barcelona.
Tackling sustainability is one of the most important challenges of today, and future networks have a crucial role to play. The increased demand for data caused by our growing population and its seemingly limitless need for high-speed information will be a driver for massive energy consumption in the ICT (Information and Communication Technologies) industry.
To make sustainable networks a reality, we need to evolve each part of the network. This workshop is expected to serve as a catalyst to
- Investigate and identify requirements for sustainable next-generation communication networks
